Over the course of his career, Salif Keïta recorded over 15 albums and was nominated five times for the GRAMMY Awards. He is also recognized for his commitment to the integration of albinos.

In So Kono, Salif reconnects with his roots and with his guitar, an instrument from which he had long distanced himself. With refined arrangements, this acoustic album, scheduled for release on April 11, 2025, revisits classics while introducing new compositions, highlighting the raw and timeless art of Salif Keïta.
