The festival

Launched in 2006, Jazzablanca is THE Casablanca International Jazz and Contemporary Music Festival (Morocco). Fundamentally rooted in Jazz values, the festival nevertheless offers its stages to the big names of Pop, Soul, Rock, Funk, World Music and Jazz.

Supported by an eclectic program combining international headliners and emerging talents, Jazzablanca is committed to democratizing culture, by offering a plural and daring musical experience.

JAZZABLANCA, SYMBOL OF THE SOUL OF CASABLANCA.

As a true urban shop-festival rooted in the city of Casablanca, the festival embraces urban space and animates the city. Beyond concerts, it is a place for sharing, discovery, and culture to awaken minds and transmit musical passion.

Each year, Jazzablanca brings together an audience from all walks of life in a friendly atmosphere, faithful to the spirit of a cosmopolitan, vibrant and constantly moving city. In 2025, Jazzablanca continues to reinvent itself, raising the values of diversity, openness and cultural influence where music, art and encounters take on their full dimension.
2006-2011

The first years

The first edition of Jazzablanca is organized in April 2006 at the Megarama. This first edition welcomes artists such as Lucky Peterson, Al Jarreau, Billy Paul or Dianne Reeves.

Until 2011, Jazzablanca generally took place over a period of 6 days, at Megarama, with some concerts also organized at the Mohammed V Complex.
2012 - 2019

New location and expansion of Jazzablanca

Jazzablanca evolves in 2012 and moves to the Casa-Anfa racecourse, while maintaining a format ranging from 6 to 9 days. The festival thus became an outdoor event, and over the years new stages were added, starting with the Jazz Club, a space reserved for festival partners.

In 2013, Jazzablanca opens a stage in public space, United Nations Square, accessible free of charge, thus opening up to new audiences and strengthening its footprint in the city of Casablanca.

In 2016, the Village Festival is created, strengthening the experience of festival-goers. The Village Scene also makes it possible to diversify artistic programming. Concerts are also organized throughout the year, the Casa Live Sessions.

In 2019, the 14th edition of Jazzablanca is the last at the Casa-Anfa Racecourse, a stage dedicated to DJs was created that year.
2022 - 2024

A new dimension for the festival in Anfa Park

After 2 years of interruption due to Covid 19, Jazzablanca returns in 2022 to Anfa Park and offers a completely new format, with a much larger capacity (8,000 people against 2,500 previously), for 3 days, around 2 stages in Anfa Park and a third free stage, still at Place des Nations-Unies.

During these years, the festival grew in size and established itself as the main festival of Casablanca, and as one of the most important in Morocco.
2025

A new era

Solidly rooted in Anfa Park and building on the success of its previous editions, Jazzablanca enters a new era in 2025 and offers a new format extended over 10 days : two spectacular weekends, from July 3 to 5 and from July 10 to 12, and between these two highlights, on July 6, 7, 8 and 9, in the heart of the village, 4 exclusive evenings, with two concerts per evening.
